RENTAL AGREEMENT

RENTAL OF HALL AND FACILITIES……………………………………………………. $150.00

ADDITIONAL REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT ………………..………………. $  50.00

Total rent plus security deposit is to be paid in advance in full.

The American Legion Post # 88, building committee, will inspect the property with the renter before and after the rental.  If the property and grounds are in the same condition as before the rental period, the security deposit will be refunded.  If there are any damages, or the condition of the premises are not in the same condition, the renter forfeits the security deposit and agrees to pay any excessive cost to the American Legion.

Renter must be at least 21 years of age, or have an adult sign and take full responsibility for this lease.  Any youth groups renting the hall, must be adequately chaperoned. 

ADDITIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Maximum number of people, as per Fire Marshall Regulations.
2. No smoking inside of building.  Please dispose of properly when outside.
3. All trash from the hall and outside must be taken away before leaving and bags replaced in the trashcans.  (Bags are located under the sink.)
4. Any kitchen items used must be washed, fried and returned to their proper area.
5. Any relocation furniture should be replaced as found before use.
6. All floors, counters and tables must be left clean. 
7. No decorations shall be stapled or taped to walls or woodwork, and all must be removed.
8. Shut off all water, fans, lights, air conditioning and close all windows.
9. Re-set thermostat to 45 degrees.
10. Not responsible for any lost or damaged property of the renter.
11.  Any items carried in must be carried out.
12. In winter, please shut doors to the main hall.
13. The cleaning supplies are located under the sink and in the bathroom.
14. Each renter must clean the bathroom before leaving
15. All long-term rentals expire on 31 December. All long-term rentals must be renewed for the upcoming year.
16. Long-term renters such as Lions, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are responsible for updating the Rental Calendar located at the Post with the dates and times they will be using the post at least 3 months in advance.
